Risa2It’s not easy. You’ve tried numerous different ways to lose weight and get healthy. Maybe you’ve tried going to the gym, hiring a personal trainer, using a weight loss center, counting points, doing circuits. Some of it worked for a period of time, but then you gained it all back. That vicious cycle is extremely frustrating. I went to the gym religiously 6 days a week for 5 years. I used the elliptical for 30-40 minutes each time. I did mat exercises. I did yoga, I went to spin classes and Body pump classes. I never got results. Not just the results that I wanted, I mean I didn’t lose weight. My body did not change. I remained a size 14 the whole time. During a training session with a trainer at the gym, his wife brought dinner to him at his office…McDonalds! That sent me over the edge. This is who is going to help me get fit and healthy??? You’ve got to be kidding me! As I got closer to my 40th birthday, I began to think that it was just inevitable, that my thighs would be thicker, my waist would hang over my jeans and that my arms would become bat wings. I thought I just had to accept it.
